Fairfax Night Market

Join us on Saturday, October 24th 2020, from 3pm-10pm for a family-friendly outdoor marketplace experience celebrating local artists, entrepreneurs, and small businesses featuring a multi-sensory backdrop of live painting and music by local DJs and musicians.

This one-day event by Ackshun Jackson, creator of many exciting art experiences in the National Capitol Region, including Mural Festivals in Fairfax County and Washington, DC, Super Art Social, and the Amazing Art Jam. Ackshun’s art events bring together some of the most exciting young, contemporary artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs, bridging, mixing, and re-mixing mediums and disciplines including music, interactive, digital, sculpture, painting, fashion, murals, anime, street art, and hip-hop culture.

This FREE event will take place OUTDOORS in the parking lot at Primetime Sports Bar & Grill in Fairfax County, providing ample room for COVID-19 safety measures including social distancing. Guests are required to wear face masks at all times while at the Market and are encouraged to follow social distancing best practices. Hand sanitizer stations will be available for event guests.

An important goal of the Fairfax Night Market is to help jump-start the businesses of local artists, musicians, designers, and other creatives in the face of economic devastation caused by the COVID-19 crisis, while also providing an ENGAGING and SAFE environment for Northern Virginia’s art and music lovers to enjoy time outside as the region continues progressing through COVID reopening phases. Fairfax County has seen significant economic upheaval and food insecurity as a result of the pandemic, and Ackshun is passionate about helping the community recover and thrive.

This outdoor marketplace includes live painting by skilled visual artists, live music by regional favorite musicians and performances by incredible local DJs, food options by Primetime Sports Bar & Grille, local vendors and sponsor booths, and more. Meet and greet our muralists, watch them create new works of art, and enjoy SAFE, SOCIALLY-DISTANCED fun and creativity with family and friends.
