A visionary in his own right, Jose is an EDM DJ and co-founder of Haven Arts Va. Working alongside Dallas, Jose plays a pivotal role in the company's day-to-day operations and helps oversee all major events.

A true Renaissance man, Jay is a former rapper turned entrepreneur known for his charisma, wealth of knowledge in music and business, and the connections he's garnered over the years in various industries. Today, he acts as an advisor to the Haven, offering his knowledge and expertise while mentoring and supporting the Haven's young artists.

Michael "MKing" King is the Lead Studio Engineer at Haven Arts VA, where he brings precision, creativity, and technical expertise to every session. A seasoned DJ and dynamic host, MKing is known for crafting immersive audio experiences that blend artistry with high-level production. With a sharp ear and a passion for elevating sound, he plays a key role in shaping the musical voice of the community.
CHINO STRINGS
MIXING & MASTERING ENGINEER / MUSICIAN / PRODUCER
A Billboard-charted, multi-instrumentalist and award-nominated producer/engineer, Chino Strings brings a high-level sonic experience to Haven Arts VA. Known online as @chinostringss, his work reflects a rare combination of musicianship, technical skill, and artistic intuition. With experience across guitar, bass, keys, drums, songwriting, production, and engineering—as well as multiple Soul Train Award-nominated credits—Chino has become known for his expressive mixes, clean vocal chains, and his ability to take artists from raw recording to industry-ready sound. His introduction marks a major milestone in Haven Arts VA’s commitment to offering true top-tier, competitive recording, mixing, and mastering services to artists in the DMV and beyond.

Soulo Poppa is a multifaceted creative—engineer, producer, and recording artist—whose sound blends emotion, expression, and intentional craftsmanship. His engineering style focuses on capturing authenticity and enhancing an artist’s natural tone, ensuring every record feels true to the creator while still polished and industry-ready. As an artist himself, Soulo brings a deep understanding of flow, tone, delivery, and storytelling, making him not just an engineer, but a collaborator who listens, guides, and helps shape records with purpose.

Samson is a sound engineer and studio lead at HGVA Studio who specializes in recording, mixing, and production. He supports independent artists with professional-quality sound and helps build a creative, community-focused studio environment. Reliable and detail-driven, he brings each artist’s vision to life.
